Subhadra Grievance Module: Odisha Women Can Now File Complaints Online

Bhubaneswar, Sept 15, 2025: The Odisha government has rolled out the Subhadra Grievance Module, a digital system created to resolve complaints under the Subhadra Yojana scheme. The initiative ensures that eligible women who were left out earlier can reapply and track their cases online.

A Step Toward Transparency and Quick Action

Launching the module, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida said, “No eligible woman will be deprived of Subhadra’s assistance.” She added that the portal will bring transparency, accountability, and faster decisions in the scheme.

How the Portal Works

Through the Subhadra portal, beneficiaries can:

  • Register grievances directly.

  • Track complaint status online.

  • Receive timely updates on decisions.

Complaints first go to block committees for review. These are then sent to the District Level Scrutiny Committee or the Municipal Corporation Level Committee. The final decision happens at the district or municipal level.

Current Progress of Subhadra Yojana

The Subhadra Yojana already has 1.09 crore applications, benefiting over 1 crore women across Odisha. At present, about 2.83 lakh grievances are in the system and will be resolved through the new module.

Officials at the Launch

The launch event saw participation from key officials, including:

  • Monisha Banarjee, Director of Women and Child Development

  • Pradeep Kumar Rout, CEO of OCAC

  • Krittibas Rout, Additional Secretary of the department

  • Other senior officers

One Year of Subhadra Yojana

The scheme completes one year on September 17, 2025. To celebrate, special programs will be held at 348 CDPO units across Odisha. Events at every Anganwadi centre will continue until October 15.
